Partnership Advances Edge AI-Enabled Vision Applications

NVIDIA AGX Xavier Development Board and FRAMOS Processing Adapter

FRAMOS Embedded Vision Ecosystem with NVIDIA AGX Xavier Development Board

FRAMOS has joined the NVIDIA Partner Network as a Preferred Service Delivery Partner. This collaboration will allow FRAMOS to offer camera solutions to customers using the NVIDIA Jetson Edge AI platform to advance vision application development in robotics, automation, IoT-connected manufacturing and more.

Through this partnership, FRAMOS' engineers will provide in-depth development of imaging pipelines for customers looking to develop AI-enabled vision applications on the Jetson platform, with additional expertise available from NVIDIA.

"NVIDIA Jetson is the leading AI-at-the-edge computing platform, with nearly half a million developers," said a spokesperson. "With support for Cloud-native technologies now available across the full Jetson line-up, manufacturers of intelligent machines and developers of AI applications can build and deploy at scale high-quality, software-defined features on embedded and edge devices targeting a wide variety of applications."

"This is a great partnership that combines our expertise in embedded vision with the high-performance computing platform provided by NVIDIA to extend the services we provide to customers. Clients currently using our Sensor Module ecosystem of products and looking to connect them to a leading-edge AI platform like Jetson will no longer need to develop in the dark," said Chris Barrett, Chief Product Officer at FRAMOS. "With NVIDIA's leadership in edge computing, we can leverage our imaging lab and years of image processing experience to maximize the performance of AI-enabled vision systems in embedded applications."

As a program partner, FRAMOS plans to promote its offerings at NVIDIA and third-party events, as well as gain early access to various NVIDIA hardware and SDKs, which will further speed up AI-enabled vision application development time and performance.
