Chaparral Machinery Exclusive Distributor for Takumi CNC

Chaparral Machinery is now the exclusive distributor for Takumi CNC machines for the entire state of Texas and New Mexico.
"Takumi CNC machines are the first machines equipped with a FANUC control to offer integrated on-machine inspection probing from Renishaw with no macro programming needed," said a spokesperson.
A highlight of the Takumi line is the heavy-duty, high-torque V-15. Specifications include:
- XYZ travels 63" x 30" x 28.3"
- Heavy-duty, flame-hardened box ways
- Solid one-piece design (no weldments) provides support for the column and increased Y-axis travel
- The base width and the four box ways under the Y-axis provide stability for large table loads
- 3,300 lbs. table capacity
- X and Y rapids 708.7 IPM
- Cutting feedrate 196.9 IPM
- Machine weight 30,864 lbs.
- 6,000 RPM CAT 50 gear driven spindle
- 437 ft-lbs. torque/24.8 HP
- CTS included.
The Takumi product line includes:
- The double-column, H-series, suited for die/mold and aerospace and designed and built for thermal stability and rigidity
- The VC series general purpose machines for job shops
- The 5-axis U-series with the Heidenhain control
- SL series box way lathes.
