Arthur Machinery-Florida has been awarded the Hanwha line of Swiss turning machines for the state of Florida and Puerto Rico.
"Hanwha offers a full line of Swiss turning machines that are manufactured in its South Korea factory," said a company spokesperson. "The Hanwha 7-Axis XD20M CNC 20 mm Swiss model features a synchronized guide bushing and has been especially successful in the medical machining industry. The 20 mm bar capacity machine has a 10,000 RPM, 5 HP spindle. Seven milling/drilling live tool units are standard on the XD20M for more complex machining on medical parts.
"Hanwha's Swiss-type lathe offer a heavier casting design with six leveling pads strategically located to support the headstock, centrally located guide bushing housing and full wrap-around casting under the sub-spindle.
"Hanwha has job shop customers as well as OEM gun and medical manufacturer installations.

Arthur Machinery-Florida offers application engineering, machine installation/service capability and customer training on these Swiss-type lathes. Arthur Machinery will have a Hanwha machine to demo for customers in its Tampa showroom.
