Austin Tri-Hawk Automotive to Install Industrial Innovations Plant-Wide Lube System

Industrial Innovations's Pro-Mix V mixing system will deliver lubricant directly to Tri-Hawk's presses.

Industrial Innovations has announced a new contract with Austin Tri-Hawk Automotive, a manufacturer of automotive structural supports located in Austin, IN. The contract includes an Industrial Innovations Pro-Mix V proportional mixing system and the necessary piping, nozzles and manifolds for the system to deliver lubrication directly to Tri-Hawk's four Aida press lines.

Plant-wide lubrication systems are designed to provide complete and consistent control over the lubrication application process. With this approach, thoroughly mixed lubricants are produced at a central location and distributed via an in-plant piping network throughout the manufacturing facility for use at each press. "In addition to consistent lube control and delivery, there are almost no labor costs associated with the process, plus lubrication and waste hauling expenses are reduced," said a company spokesperson.

Pro-Mix blenders are capable of mixing, pressurizing and distributing a variety of lubricants. The lubricant mixture is then delivered via a Spra-Rite applicator solution consisting of manifolds and nozzles. The manifolds feature independently controlled ejector valves with settings for skip cycle counting, delay spray and volume control - all allowing for precise positioning and application of the lubricant to the workpiece. These systems are equipped with Industrial Innovations Z-series nozzles, which are 99.5% drip-free.

Industrial Innovations is a manufacturer of industrial lubrication equipment for operation in metalworking industries including metalforming, die casting, machining and stamping.
