Vises for Advanced Workholding Applications

Elijah Tooling Inc. (ELT) offers its EZE-Vise Ultimate workholding vises. According to the company, the new low profile modular vise set features both an adjustable and fixed vise and allows for quick change outs with maximum holding power. This vise set has the ability to mount onto most fixture plates, including plates loaded with Invert-a-Bolt fasteners, using special locking t-nuts within the vise. The vises are modular for enhanced workholding flexibility. Additional vises can be added for larger applications.
Both the fixed and adjustable vises offer optional smooth or serrated grippers at the point of contact to better match specific applications. The vises can be mounted, removed and tightened with a hex wrench.
ELT President Rick Miller said, "These EZE-Vise Ultimates are built from hardened steel and are suitable for most applications but light enough to allow for faster change outs. We have been using them for a while now and decided recently to make them available to the public."
