West Ohio Tool Earns ISO Certification

West Ohio Tool has announced that the company and its custom PCD, CBN and carbide cutting tool making operations are now ISO 9001 certified. "For customers, the certification ensures they are working with a tooling supplier that measures up to their same standards and provides the utmost levels of quality and precision in the tooling they need to machine highly complex and tight-tolerance workpieces," said a company spokesperson.

As part of the ISO certification process, West Ohio Tool demonstrated its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the company documented that it upholds the seven quality management principles at the heart of ISO certification.

"Most manufacturers today are ISO certified, and they expect that same certification of their suppliers," said West Ohio Tool President Rea King. "We have always maintained the highest standards in both our manufacturing operations and the tools we produce, so the certification is testament to that and further builds the already strong confidence our customers have in us."
