Through this strategic agreement, PDS will provide spindle repair for Patrick Industries' entire portfolio of manufacturing companies. The company's complete spindle repair services include root cause failure forensics, vibration analysis, bearing and shaft repair, spindle taper grinding, balancing and engineering and application design.
Under the agreement, uptime will be optimized with PDS technicians providing regular VibeAid spindle vibration analysis for all Patrick shop floors. Using real-time utilization data, Spindle Health Monitoring Systems will further protect Patrick Industries' spindles from failure and workpiece errors. This integrated system is installed directly within the spindle, providing real-time monitoring and diagnostics that reduce machine downtime by predicting malfunctions through vibration and temperature analysis. Patrick Industries will receive unlimited technical phone support, quarterly evaluations, performance analyses and all the parts and labor needed to return their spindles to factory specifications and operational tolerances.
