Techniks Tool Group Merges with Eppinger Group



Techniks Tool Group (TTG) has announced its merger with Eppinger Group, a provider of driven and static tools for CNC lathes as well as precision gear and gear boxes for automation and robotic applications. The combined businesses will be named Eppinger Technologies and will expand its broad product offerings of highly engineered solutions to address the tooling and automation needs of CNC milling centers and lathes. The company's main brands of Techniks, Parlec, Eppinger and Exsys will continue to lead customer-facing operations.

Founded in 1925 and headquartered in Denkendorf, Germany, Eppinger Group is a mechanical engineering company that develops and produces driven and static toolholders for CNC turning and milling centers as well as precision gears and gear boxes for robotic and other automation applications. Eppinger Group maintains manufacturing facilities in Germany and India and has a sales and service office, branded as Exsys Automation, located in Dade City, FL. Eppinger Group holds extensive relationships with machine shops, machine OEMs and robot manufacturers in Europe and Asia.

Techniks Tool Group, comprised of the Techniks and Parlec brands, is a provider of high quality toolholding and workholding solutions primarily focused to CNC machining centers. Solutions include Made-in-USA shrink fit machines and shrink fit holders, hydraulic chucks, ultra-precise collet chuck systems, boring and tapping systems and magnetic workholding solutions.
