User-Friendly Paint Systems for General Industries

As many manufacturers seek out solutions that make complex applications more accessible, Kawasaki Robotics and Dürr Systems are teaming up to bring user-friendly automated paint systems to the non-automotive general industries (GI) market. This is the future of explosion-proof general industry paint applications, the companies reported.

"While automated paint cells are widely adopted in the automotive sector, Kawasaki and Dürr's collaboration will help make these types of cells more accessible to users in nonautomotive industries, regardless of their prior experience robotics," said a spokesperson. "Dürr equipment, like the EcoGun AS AUTO spray gun, seamlessly integrate with Kawasaki's K series paint robots, providing reliable and precise paint application. Dürr's wide range of automatic air spray guns are tailored to fulfill many kinds of applications across all industries."

Features and benefits from Dürr and Kawasaki systems:

  • Seamlessly integrated paint systems simplify installation, set-up and production
  • Precise application with a range of paint gun sizes for many part types
  • High efficiency achieved through quick color changes and direct connection with the Kawasaki robot controller
  • User-friendly Kawasaki/D?rr panel establishes communication through a simple step-by-step instruction manual.

"Kawasaki's diverse paint portfolio provides robots and pre-engineered solutions-for any size part-that integrate easily with Dürr equipment for flawless finishes and streamlined efficiency," said the spokesperson.
