Barcode Printers



Wasp Barcode Technologies offers its latest line of barcode printers. The WPL406 the WPL612 are designed for industrial barcode printing requirements, while the WPL304 is ideal for desktop barcode printing.

Wasp's barcode printers feature standard Ethernet connectivity and provide customers with high quality label printing at advanced speeds, according to the company.

The WPL612 is designed for manufacturing, warehouse and shipping and receiving industries. It contains a die-cast aluminum construction, including print head, for improved durability and the ability to withstand tough production environments. "The WPL612 can produce 20,000 labels in one run, while still providing the fine print and graphic labels for the highest quality in printing," said a company spokesperson. The 203 DPI is standard; 300 or 600 DPI print heads are available.

The WPL406 is an entry-level industrial printer. Features include a low-profile design, all-metal exterior housing and die-cast aluminum print mechanism able to withstand high volume print applications of up to 10,000 labels per day.

Wasp's WPL304 desktop printer offers four connection options: Ethernet, USB, serial and parallel. The WPL304 is compatible with Wasp and other major ribbon media offerings.

WPL612 features include:

  • 32 MB SDRAM, 8 MB flash memory SD card slot for flash memory expansion
  • Thermal transfer and direct thermal printing
  • Print labels up to 4.09" wide
  • 203 DPI print resolution
  • Supports label rolls with outside diameter up to 8".

WPL406 features include:

  • 8 MB RAM, 4 MB flash memory SD card slot for up to 4 GB flash memory expansion
  • Low profile design
  • Multiple connectivity options including Ethernet
  • All-metal construction and die-cast aluminum print mechanism
  • 203 DPI print resolution standard, 300 DPI available.

WPL304 features include:

  • 8 MB RAM, 4 MB flash memory SD card slot for up to 4 GB flash memory expansion
  • Accepts Wasp and compatible label and ribbon media
  • Print speeds up to 4" per second
  • Multiple connectivity options
  • Smallest Wasp 4" format desktop.
