HFO - A Division of Champions Machine Tool Sales to Host Haas Demo Day

Haas Factory Outlet (HFO), a division of Champions Machine Tool, has announced it will host a Demo Day October 2, 2013 at its Austin area location. The event will take place at 375 Commercial Drive, Buda, TX 78610 and will be celebrating 30 years of Haas innovation. The Open House will be held from 10:00am until 4:00pm. Lunch will be served from 11:00am until 1:00pm. 

The event will feature CNC machines from Haas with live demonstrations on every machine. Haas machines to be demonstrated will be a VF-2SSYT and Super Minimill 2 vertical machining centers as well as the ST-20Y Turning Center. The Y-axis and Live Tooling options will be demonstrated on the ST-20Y. The Renishaw Wireless Probing System offered exclusively through Haas will be featured on the VF-2SSYT. Sheila Schermerhorn, the local Renishaw Sales Representative, will be on hand to present a technical seminar on the abilities of the wireless probing system.

Local customer, Design and Assembly Concepts, will exhibit a Fanuc robot and demonstrate its capabilities in the machining environment. A more recent customer, TrackingPoint (www.tracking-point.com), has agreed to display their product and be on hand to answer questions about their weapon target technology.

"HFO - Austin will showcase the latest innovations, all focused on putting new equipment on your shop floor while keeping your budget intact. The HFO showroom will have plenty of personnel on hand to answer questions. Haas applications engineers, along with representatives from major tooling, workholding and CAD/CAM manufacturers, will also be on hand to share insights and assist in adapting the newest machine technology and manufacturing strategies to the shop floor."
