MACDAC has introduced its wireless Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) technology to the North American market. This advanced wireless technology consists of an upgraded version of WireFreeShop and the new JBM HMI Windows 8 tablet relay station.

"The WireFreeShop/JBM package enables users to accurately and reliably collect OEE data; manage DNC files with the ability to preview at the machine; obtain real-time status with operator input; identify bottlenecks before or when they occur; maximize machine operation and plant efficiency; and provide a benchmark for continuous improvement," said a company spokesperson.

MACDAC has expanded geographically in its sales and support of various other OEE solutions. The firm is now representing Firefly, G-Time Saver, Hybridpath, Renishaw, SpaceClaim, 3Dconnexion and Verisurf across the USA.

Founded in 1990, MACDAC is a veteran-owned business headquartered in a renovated portion of the historic, circa 1839 Somersville Manufacturing Company textile mill on the banks of the Scantic River in CT.
