AIDA-America Announces Promotions

AIDA-America, a metal stamping press manufacturer, has announced several employee promotions.

John Hubler has been promoted to Assistant Manager-Electrical Engineering, and Ben Shepherd has been promoted to Assistant Manager-Mechanical Engineering. Hubler joined AIDA-America in February of 2012 as an electrical engineer; he has also served as senior electrical engineer. Shepherd joined AIDA-America's Engineering Department eight years ago, and his previous positions include mechanical engineer, senior mechanical engineer and mechanical engineering group leader. Both are now responsible for managing resources, associates and drawings to ensure that project and customer requirements are met within their respective departments.

Wade Pearson has been promoted to Group Leader-Mechanical Engineering. He joined AIDA-America's Engineering Department in May of 2013. His previous positions include mechanical engineer and senior mechanical engineer. In his new role, Pearson is now responsible for managing Mechanical Engineering Department associates, drawings and product standardization.

Christian Loyd, who began his career at AIDA-America in October of 2017, has been promoted to Piping Team Leader. He previously served as a mechanical assembler. Loyd is now responsible for providing on the job training and direction to Piping Team Members and Trainees. In his new role, Loyd also coordinates with internal departments to assure that all components required for assembly are accounted for and leads piping, ensuring that all equipment meets customers' specifications.

Beth Percival was recently promoted to Controller. She joined AIDA-America's Accounting Department over 15 years ago as general accountant. Other previous positions held include senior general accountant and project controller. Percival received her Certified Management Accountant certification in 2015. She now manages all areas of accounting, including financial statements, budgets and forecasts.

Yukari Tsui, who joined AIDA-America's Service Department in April of 2017 as interpreter/translator/administrative support, was recently promoted to Accounting Administrator. In her new position, Tsui processes customer invoices, receives customer payments, reconciles accounts, prepares deposits, maintains master vendor files and backs up accounts payable as needed.
