Blake Consdorf
QComp Technologies (part of the OwnersEdge family of companies), a provider of robotic automation and complex material handling solutions and 100% employee-owned company, announced that Blake Consdorf has been appointed President. Consdorf previously served on QComp's advisory board for two years and now steps into the role as an employee-owner.
Consdorf was previously CEO of InCompass (Maple Grove, MN) and brings three decades of experience across automation, robotics, engineering, operations, and sales. His appointment reflects a deliberate transition from strategic advisory guidance to hands-on leadership at a pivotal stage in QComp's growth.
"Blake is a disciplined operator with deep automation experience and the kind of principled leadership that builds strong teams," said Rob Dillon, CEO of OwnersEdge. "He is a great fit for QComp's culture, and he understands the responsibility that comes with being employee-owned. With Blake leading QComp, we will continue to grow by staying customer-focused and committed to developing our people."
Having worked closely with QComp's leadership team as an advisory board member, Consdorf saw firsthand the strength of the organization and its potential.
"What drew me to this role were the people, the culture, and the values," said Consdorf. "There is something very special about QComp and OwnersEdge. Being part of a 100% employee-owned company where we are truly `in this together' creates a deeper level of commitment and a longer-term mindset. You feel that responsibility every day."
Consdorf previously worked in private-equity-backed environments and brings a broad perspective on leadership models and growth strategies. He cited QComp's strong team, growing sales pipeline, and employee ownership structure as key factors in his decision to step into the role.
"Automation and robotics are in my blood," Consdorf added. "Solving complex problems is challenging, but incredibly rewarding. QComp is positioned to take off, and I wanted to be part of that journey as an employee owner, not just an advisor."
As President, Consdorf will focus on strengthening execution across sales, project delivery, and customer experience. His priorities include building the right sales backlog, sharpening project management discipline, and expanding service capabilities to support long-term customer partnerships.
