New Dual Port Coolant Through Toolholders

GenSwiss, a source for tools, accessories and assistance for Swiss machining, has announced its new Dual Port coolant through toolholders utilizing a single coolant feed line. The double jet design features one port on the front and one on the back to simultaneously deliver high pressure cutting oil to the insert tip and an adjacent station, thereby effectively keeping chips out of the cutting zone for optimal lubrication and cooling.
In addition, having two ports on a single holder delivers more high pressure streams without monopolizing too many feed lines off the high pressure pump. The holders are designed for pressures up to 2,000 PSI and are offered in stock sizes of 1/2" and 5/8" square shank. The holders suit 80°, 55° UTILIS inserts, CCMT/CCGT and DCGT/DCMT respectively, as well as other Swiss-type cutting tools.
