CNC Upgrade Systems for Fadal Machine Tools

Fadal owners can now keep their favorite machines producing parts for many years to come. Centroid offers affordable Mill CNC control configurations of both the Centroid M400 and the M39 CNC control models with either AC or DC servo drives. Early Fadals came equipped with DC servomotors which can be retained. The Centroid DC servo Fadal upgrade system includes new 15 amp auto tuning digital DC servo drives that can control the original DC servomotors saving time and money on the upgrade. New replacement made-in-USA Centroid DC servos are also available in the case that one of the original Fadal servomotors is damaged or missing. "Centroid Fadal CNC upgrade systems are also available with AC servo axis motors which yield faster feedrates and rapid rates over the original Fadal CNC system. The Fadal Automatic Tool Changer along with the stock spindle motor are retained 'as is' with the Centroid upgrade system saving both time and money on the upgrade," said a company spokesperson.

"Every Centroid CNC control system comes with a long list of standard CNC features that go above and beyond the original Fadal CNC control," said the spokesperson. Owners of the Centroid Fadal upgrade can use the built-in Centroid conversational programming for quick part production on the shop floor. The Centroid also is equipped with a large solid-state hard drive for large on board part program storage. Popular options on the Fadals are the Centroid Automatic Tool Touch Off and the Centroid DP-4 Part Probing system. Both of these the operator controls with a conversational style menu-driven user interface that is easy to use and can be productive immediately.

Centroid offers both Fadal DIY CNC upgrade kits and professional on-site installation, training and warranty.

Centroid CNC controls are Windows 10 based and come equipped with touchscreen LCD display and a fast robust CNCPC equipped with Wifi, Ethernet LAN, and USB 3.0 ports. Remote CNC support via the internet allows direct Centroid factory support to the CNC control on the customer's floor.
