Orbitform Acquires C&B Machinery

Orbitform, along with a group of investors, has acquired C&B Machinery in Brighton, MI. Through this investment, C&B Machinery will remain a separate entity with its own staff and facility.

"C&B Machinery is an industry leader providing world-class precision disc grinding and metal removal equipment solutions," said a spokesperson. "With custom-engineered fixturing, robust machine base, static stiffness and a special diamond dressing design, C&B's equipment maximizes part quality process performance in obtaining parallelism and flatness; increases time span between grind disc wheel redressing; and extends disc grinding wheel tool life."

C&B Machinery supports numerous industries-including automotive, aerospace and hand tools-with new, rebuilt, re-engineered and retrofitted disc grinding and metal removal equipment.

Orbitform's President Phil Sponsler said, "We intend to carry on the heritage that C&B Machinery has established over the last 40 years. We look forward to working with the existing, highly skilled C&B team to grow the business."
