Prolong Ultra Cut 1 is designed to lower extreme temperatures and reduce damaging friction levels in sawing, grinding, boring, turning or milling processes.
"Proven to be effective in eliminating uneven cuts and increasing tool life, Ultra Cut 1 is an effective flood coolant and can be blended to make emulsions in any application requiring a coolant lubricant," said a company spokesperson. Ultra Cut 1 is developed with Prolong's Anti-Friction Metal Treatment (AFMT), which is not an additive, but an extreme-pressure property lubricant. AFMT bonds with metal surfaces through a molecular and chemical process, forming a protective layer that provides enhanced resistance to extreme friction and heat, which are ongoing challenges in metalworking environments.
