Weld Sequencer Features Step-by-Step Instructions

Lincoln Elecric's weld sequencer allows welders to pictorially view and automatically log results on each weld in the operational sequence, stated the company.

"With high manufacturing costs, there is no room for waste in the process stream," said Matt Albright, Product Manager for Welding Equipment, Lincoln Electric. "We are providing welding operators with a simplified view to gain productivity and improve quality."

The weld sequencer's welding power source parameters, such as voltage wire feed speed and waveform mode, are set for each discrete weld, designed to ensure that the operator can obtain optimal results for each weld. The software includes additional monitoring and control capabilities, including operator badge scanning confirmation and correct consumable confirmation. Operator training time and set-up time from assembly to assembly is reduced.
