Okuma Announces New Houston Tech Center Coordinator

Ted Winkle has joined the Okuma America Corporation team as the Houston Tech Center Coordinator. He is responsible for managing all technical center activities in addition to supporting sales and Okuma distribution partner Hartwig.
Winkle previously held supervisory and engineering positions in the manufacturing industry and has extensive sales and technical training experience. He has more than 20 years of hands-on experience as a design engineer and operating Okuma machines, which has allowed him to acquire comprehensive knowledge of turning and milling applications, and tooling and fixture design.
Winkle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Texas at Tyler. He will be based in Houston, TX.
