Techniks Industries Rebrands as Frontline Tooling Solutions

Techniks Industries, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, announced its rebranding to Frontline Tooling Solutions. Headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, the newly formed organization serves as the parent company to its two independent platform companies: Techniks Tool Group, a provider of toolholders, workholding and other machine tool accessories, and NAPGladu, a cutting tools service and solution provider to the secondary wood, composite and other industries. Frontline Tooling Solutions will continue to support an aggressive acquisition-focused strategy with the goal of achieving global growth and new market development for its two companies, as well as providing one-stop tooling solutions for customers.

Prior to this rebranding, Frontline Tooling Solutions formed Techniks Tool Group (TTG), which is a result of the combination of two brands in the industry, Parlec and Techniks. Since acquiring Parlec in April 2017, Frontline Tooling Solutions has brought both teams together to combine the strengths of the two organizations, including sales and customer support, quick-turn customization through engineering and product development and multiple channels to market.

"Leveraging these strengths going forward to support its customers, TTG will focus on new product development, new market entry and complementary acquisitions to drive a 'spindle to cutting tool' strategy," said a company spokesperson.

Vern Cameron, CEO of Frontline Tooling Solutions, said, "We are excited to announce the launch of Frontline Tooling Solutions, which represents two businesses in the metal tools and wood and composite-cutting markets. Through TTG, we offer the broadest selection of toolholders and machine tool accessories in the marketplace, with the same commitment to quality, durability, precision and customer service that our customers have become accustomed to receiving. Our NAPGladu family of companies represent a full suite of leading cutting tool solutions in North America, including nationwide service in the U.S. and Canada and customized engineering and manufacturing of high quality tools."
