Automatic Liquid Dispenser Prevents Spills

AUTOFILL, a Lyntech Engineering Inc. company, has announced its most recent automatic liquid dispenser, the AF-4. It joins the AF-1, AF-2 and AF-3 models, from barrel/tote mount to magnet mount/wall mount. The dispensers are designed to prevent costly spills and to achieve more accurate, efficient mixing.

Each unit can be used to automatically dispense any non-combustible or non-caustic liquid in concise, user-programmed amounts. Once the desired amount is set, just press the button and walk away. AUTOFILL units are programmable from 0 to 9,999 gallons in 1/10-gallon increments. The controls are also password protected and keep a cumulative total of amount dispensed.

The AF-4 is a double wall or machine mount AUTOFILL with two dispensing opportunities. It is designed to accommodate both water and concentrate inputs to precisely mixed concentrations from 0-100%. The user defines the desired concentration and desired amount. The full color, 4.3" LED touchscreen provides a host of programming scenarios. The AF-4 offers five user-defined concentration settings, allowing users to customize the quantity and concentration of dispensed liquid. An alarm will sound and the unit will shut off when there is a flow fault or low fluid level to notify the user when a barrel or tote is almost empty to allow time to retrieve a full barrel of concentrate.

"AUTOFILL streamlines workflow and efficiently tracks material usage," said Lyntech Engineering Owner and AUTOFILL designer Jason Hudkins. "A well-known coolant manufacturer rigorously tested straight oil water droplets with a 1:1 refractive factor. AUTOFILL scored very well, which means the eco-friendly AUTOFILL will consistently maximize coolant use which, in turn, helps extend cutting tool life."

Other AF-4 features include:

  • Pulse mode for concentrate distribution throughout entire dispensing cycle
  • Low concentrate/empty alarm programmable to specified container size
  • 5-pin quick disconnect cable to "handshake" interface with machine's PLC to operate remotely
  • Calibration to specific viscosities for accurate concentration amounts
  • Adjustable refraction index multiplier for precise refractometer readings and automatically displays true BRIX % when using multiplier.
