Featuring surface finishes to 2 RMS, they can be custom manufactured from tool steels such as M-2, A-2, A-10, H-13, S-7, PM-M4, PM-10V, PM-15V, 420 and 440 stainless steels and beryllium-free copper alloys, and can be polished, coated and plated for additional wear resistance and lubricity.
Suitable for a wide range of OEM requirements, Regal Special Mold & Die Components can incorporate details including tapers, rings, vents, ribs and spirals shaped using wire EDM. Applications include molding a variety of medical, electronics and consumer products that require extreme precision such as needles, sheaves, closures, nipples, pipettes, IV connectors, shavers, electronic components and writing instruments.
