Rapid Traveling Clamp System for Die Change Automation

ROEMHELD North America has introduced the Flexline R Rapid Traveling Clamp System, a heavy-duty solution engineered for fast, safe, and fully automatic die clamping on press rams.
"Designed for tough industrial environments and frequent die changes, the Flexline R traveling clamps combine precision, strength, and configurability to help press operators cut set-up times and boost uptime," said a company spokesperson.
Built on the Flexline platform, the Flexline R system features a reinforced stainless steel drive chain and sensor components, high-performance hydraulic clamp cylinders, and advanced sensor technology to help ensure safe, reliable clamping-even under demanding conditions.
Flexline R System features include:
- Up to 104 kN at 400 bar or 100 kN at 245 bar
- Stainless steel pull-push chain and die sensor bracket
- Integrated hydraulic and electrical lines
- IP65-rated electrical connectors, inductive and magnetic sensors for multipoint position feedback, and a manual emergency release
- Available with multiple cylinder types, travel lengths, and T-slot compatibility-all in a low-profile, lightweight design
- Available with optional 24V direct current drive motor.
