Linear Guide Way Vertical Machining Center

Kent CNC has added an economical machine to its product line. The KVR-4020A is built to decrease the cost of operations and direct labor. Equipped standard with the FANUC 0i-MD CNC, a chip conveyor and a 24-tool dual arm type ATC, manufacturers can run this vertical machine unattended.

The Kent CNC KVR-4020A provides a 40" x 20" x 20" work space and up to 15,000 RPM/15 HP direct drive spindle and rigid roller type linear guideways. The turntable allows simultaneous 3-axis machining and one-chuck multi-sided machining of complex shapes with the optional rotary table. "This machine is built for manufacturers who encounter complex jobs and wish to design multiple components quickly and profitably," said a company spokesperson.

Features of the KVR-4020A include:

  • Ability to create parts and die molds with enhanced precision and surface finishes.
  • Simultaneous control over the axes
  • PMC Axis Control for precision machining of complex materials including ceramics, intricate cores and cavities
  • Flexible feed gear designed for high-speed machining of hardened steels with enhanced accuracies and surface finishes
  • Schedule function
  • 4-axis rotary table ready
  • Synchronous control
  • Serial encoder interface
  • Cylindrical interpolation
  • Helical interpolation.
