In-Stock Cold Saw Blades Keep Fabricators Cutting

In its efforts to keep metal fabricators' sawing systems cutting and productive, Scotchman Industries keeps its highest quality cold saw blades in stock and ready for immediate shipment. The company also offers its OEM resharpening service to further promote customer efficiency.

Scotchman cold saw blades are made exclusively in Europe using high quality European steel. Scotchman cold saw blades are available in a variety of sizes and tooth configurations. Its most popular blades include HSS DMo5 blades, 32 mm arbor/bore - pinholes 2/8/45 and 2/11/63 and 40 mm arbor/bore - pinholes 2/8/55 and 4/12/64, and tungsten carbide tipped blades with 40 mm and 50 mm arbors. Original Scotchman cold saw blades are designed to keep Scotchman cold saws performing like new and will improve the performance of many other cold saws as well.

The Scotchman Power 2000 Circular Cold Saw Blades are suited for ferrous materials, including tube and pipe with wall thicknesses up to 0.100". These blades have a PVD coating for long blade life and incorporate a notched grind for faster cutting at 80 to 170 RPM. The PVD coated Scotchman Performance 3000 Cold Saw Blades are designed for thicker ferrous materials, including solids and tube and pipe with wall thicknesses greater than 0.100". Scotchman tungsten carbide tipped saw blades are designed to cut nonferrous materials on saws operating between 1,500 and 3,000 RPM.

In addition to standard 275 mm and 350 mm cold saw blades, Scotchman offers cold saw blades in many different diameters and tooth configurations and can make custom blades to exact specifications. These options let fabricators optimize their cutting operations for their individual needs. An example would be using smaller diameter blades when cutting solid materials, which offer reduced vibration, increased rigidity, and a reduced risk of blade breakage caused by clamping issues or rapid feedrates. Scotchman also offers blades in various thicknesses, including 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3.0 mm. Scotchman recommends using thinner blades when cutting thinner materials, such as thin-wall pipes measuring 0.0625" or below. Thicker blades are suitable for heavy-duty cutting tasks, including solid materials or heavy-wall pipes.

Scotchman's rapid turn-around in-house cold saw blade sharpening service extends the useful life of cold saw blades and keeps fabricators up and cutting. Scotchman strives to provide a turnaround time of two days or less with consistent, high-quality results. Scotchman specialists can sharpen any HSS blade, re-tooth a chipped blade, perform a complete de-gum and sharpen, and can also grind custom saw blade geometries to exact specifications.
