TigerStop has introduced TigerSaw Ferrous, its fully automatic ferrous saw system designed to process the toughest metals.
"Mechanical contractors, fabricators, formers, and job shops around the globe can now process ferrous metals with increased speed, accuracy, and productivity," said a company spokesperson. "With TigerSaw Ferrous, they can quickly, accurately, and fully automatically cut steel/stainless steel, tube and pipe, Unistrut, threaded rod, and other ferrous metals."
Features include:
- Extensive guarding and fully enclosed saw blade
- Cutting capacity-Round tube 4.25"; square tube 3.75"; rectangular tube 5.25" x 3.25" and 5" x 3.5"; and solids: 2.5"
- Compatible with 14" (350 mm) saw blade
- Push feed up to 840 lbs.
- Touch screen tablet controller upgrade.
With TigerSaw Ferrous, shops no longer need to purchase multiple pieces of machinery to get a fully automatic ferrous metalcutting solution. Dynamic Optimization software comes standard and automatically determines the best yield from a cut list. An improved material yield saves money and reduces waste. It allows operators to optimize perfectly because TigerSaw Ferrous is doing the math. A single operator can run TigerSaw Ferrous by loading a cut list, material, and pressing start.
