Expanded Availability of Machinist Calc Pro

Calculated Industries now offers its Machinist Calc Pro advanced machining math and reference tool as an app for smart phones and as a Windows-compatible software program. The apps and software have all the functionality of the handheld calculator, combining a complete assortment of machining calculations with thread and drill size chart look-ups, speeds and feeds, right triangle solutions, bolt patterns and more.
In addition, the apps and software programs come with two versions of the calculator - the original Machinist Calc Pro, plus the international version that defaults to metric units. The apps have a full user guide built in as well as the ability to press and hold a key for specific help.
The Machinist Calc Pro is designed for machinist, machine setters, tool and die makers, production engineers and machine shop owners and managers.
Dedicated functions include:
- Built-in drill and thread size tables
- Drill point cut depth solutions
- Cutting speed, spindle speed (RPM)
- Feed rate, cutting feed, feed per tooth (chip load)
- Advanced bolt pattern hole layouts with center X, Y coordinates
