Apollo Appoints COLE-TUVE Exclusive Distributor

COLE-TUVE, Inc. has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for the U.S. and Canada by Apollo s.r.l., an Italian manufacturer of high-speed CNC tube and pipe punching and drilling machines. Apollo manufactures 22 different hydraulic punching machines. Models are available for accurately punching and drilling pipes and round, square and rectangular tubes in a variety of holes and shapes.

According to the company, Apollo machines offer enhanced speed and accuracy (two holes per second, up to 300,000 holes with a single punch, and as little as 0.2 mm from the first to the last hole on a tube 3 meters long).

Material can be placed in the machine manually and then processed automatically, or fed automatically from a bundled storage component and processed through the machine in as little as one meter per second.

Cores are available for inside the material - they expand each time a hole is punched to keep it free of fall-off. An alphanumeric programmer is standard equipment. Computer support is available to guide repair in case of breakdown.

For round, square and flat bar, similar capabilities are available with drilling components.

Models are available for fully automated operation without an operator.
