Diversified Machine Systems (DMS) offers its Enclosed 5-axis Overhead Gantry CNC Router. This machine was initially designed specifically to address the particular concerns of the composites manufacturing industry. "The DMS Enclosed 5-axis Overhead Gantry CNC Router - featuring a Fagor 8055i CNC Control, solid 2 feet x 3 feet twin tables and 30 inches of Z stroke - is the first machine of its size to offer a glass clamshell-style roof," said a company spokesperson.
According to the company, DMS has manufactured similar CNC machines that have been well received within the international aerospace community for composites machining and fabrication. "With its smaller footprint and newer technology, this router is an important addition to the composites and thermoforming community," said the spokesperson.
