OD Cylindrical Grinder for Aerospace & Defense

At the Manufacturing Technology Series WEST 2025, EMAG will showcase the WPG 7-a compact, CNC OD cylindrical grinding machine designed to provide precision grinding for aerospace and defense applications. This high-performance machine is optimized for external cylindrical grinding of parts like gears, shafts and pinions up to 10" in length and 15" in diameter, making it suited for critical components found in engines, munitions and aerospace systems.
"The WPG 7 offers a smart alternative to traditional oversized cylindrical grinders, offering a smaller footprint of under 43.5 sq. ft., or less than 90 sq. ft. with optional automation," said a company spokesperson. "This space-saving design makes it especially attractive for manufacturers looking to modernize their shop floors without compromising on capability."
