KUKA Introduced Digital Business Segment

KUKA Robotics has introduced its newly established digital business segment-KUKA Digital-highlighting the company's expanded focus on software and digital solutions across the production lifecycle.

"With over 125 years of automation experience and five decades in robotics, KUKA is leveraging this deep expertise to help manufacturers achieve end-to-end digitalization," said a company spokesperson. "KUKA Digital supports customers in transforming their production environments through software, connectivity and artificial intelligence-regardless of machine type or manufacturer."

In addition to longstanding brands Device Insight (IoT and data analytics) and Visual Components (3D simulation and offline programming), KUKA presented mosaixx-a new, open cloud platform designed for Industrial Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). mosaixx supports ECAD/MCAD programs, simulation, virtual commissioning and more, enabling engineers to structure and connect workflows in a shared, secure and cloud-based environment.

The new segment is aimed at accelerating customers' digital transformation with scalable solutions, robust consulting services and integration-ready tools. KUKA emphasized its ecosystem approach, which brings together internal expertise with a global network of partners.

As with all of KUKA's automation offerings, the digital tools are backed by comprehensive service, system engineering support, training and spare parts availability-accessible through the my.KUKA.com portal and supported by regional offices and partners throughout North America.
