Blum LMT Changes Business Name to Blum-Novotest

Blum Laser Measuring Technology, Inc. (Blum LMT, Inc.), a fully owned subsidiary of Blum-Novotest, GmbH, has changed its name to Blum-Novotest, Inc.
The change is due to the significant expansion of its business activities, which now include more product lines than those implied by its previous name. "Blum was often referred to by many in the manufacturing industry as 'the laser guys,' referring to its well-known LaserControl NT systems (tool setter)," said a company spokesperson.
"But lasers are not all we offer," said Jon Kulikowski, President of the subsidiary. "The company has long offered other product lines aimed at enhancing manufacturers' productivity through quality improvement, automation and in depth process control solutions. We want everyone to know that we offer other great products, and like our laser systems, we ensure the same degree of reliability, accuracy and speed advantages are built into all of them."
With the company's current growth in size and strength and the fact that it is expanding to support its parent company's other divisions, a name change was necessary to better reflect the diversity of the entire Blum-Novotest group.
