BIG BORE BB-FZA2G Chuck

SMW Autoblok has introduced the second generation front-end pneumatic 6-jaw sequence chuck, the BIG BORE BB-FZA2G. Featuring a 1.5" extended stroke versus the 1" stroke of the original BB-FZA chuck, this chuck can now machine an extra long through hole measuring up to 390 mm.

Designed for high efficiency machining of bent or straight pipe, the BIG BORE BB-FZA2G utilizes three integrated centering jaws and three compensating jaws to move and center pipe to the exact threading location. "This, in combination with the fast jaw movement and easy programming of the automatic sequencing, provides shorter cycle times for increased productivity," said a company spokesperson.

Designed specifically for external clamping, the BIG BORE BB-FZA2G chuck is available in sizes ranging from 740 to 920 mm.
