Onsrud Dual Process Hybrid Mill

C.R. Onsrud, Inc. will demonstrate its Dual Process Hybrid Mill - a single large format machine that offers manufacturers the capability of simultaneously running two completely independent multi-axis heads on two separately operated (6' x 6') table platforms.
Manufacturers now have the ability to machine left and right parts, as well as left, right and front to back parts, simultaneously in a single operating run. If a larger capacity mill is needed for larger pieces, the two tables can be slaved into one large (6' x 12') platform. Operators can park one head and run this machine as a traditional large, single head 5-axis mill.
The Dual-Process, fully enclosed hybrid mill is constructed from heavy components and outfitted with twin 24,000 RPM multi-axis spindles. Operating at cutting speeds up to 4,000 IPM, this mill is designed to reduce production time while holding tight tolerances. It provides wet or dry machining on large production runs.
