New VMC with FANUC Series 0i-MODEL D Control

Republic Lagun will feature its 4020 vertical machining center (VMC) in action as it interacts with FANUC robot technology at IMTS.
The VMC is made from Meehanite castings with heavily ribbed construction for increased rigidity, strength and dimensional stability with enhanced wear characteristics. The machines are modular in design, allowing the customer to create custom machines by selecting the axis travels, spindle power, automatic tool changers, CNC controls and other machine features.
"Each machine comes with heavy-duty ram built construction, providing durable, well-built units for all specialty milling needs," said a company spokesperson. "Regardless of customer requirements, Republic Lagun CNC machines are built to withstand multiple vigorous tasks, from faster heavy-duty cutting to 3, 4, 5 axes interpolations for complex parts."
