The VTA600 combines a thermally stable bridge-style frame with a 24,000 RPM direct-drive spindle, providing the stiffness necessary to cut materials up to 52 HRC while maintaining the speed required for efficient, high-precision machining. It achieves surface finishes as fine as 0.1 µm Ra (4 RMS) and part accuracies within 10-20 µm, meeting the requirements of mold makers, medical device manufacturers and 3C component producers.

One of the VTA600's main advantages is the integration of Jingdiao's on-machine measurement and intelligent correction system (OMIM) with SurfMill CAD/CAM software and the JD50 CNC control. This closed-loop process enables the machine to measure parts in real time and automatically compensate for deviations such as tool wear, workpiece misalignment or surface irregularities.
SurfMill 9.5 generates optimized toolpaths that embed these measurement routines directly into the machining process, reducing human error and eliminating the need for frequent part re-fixturing or offline inspection. The result is a more intelligent workflow where the machine not only cuts, but also monitors and improves quality as it works.
The VTA600 includes a 24-tool automatic changer and supports HSK40 or BT30 toolholders. It can be configured with:
- Jingdiao's own FMS150: a 16-pallet automation system with RFID technology for lights-out production
- Laser tool setter and touch probe, which checks the tool length, diameter and profile
- Jingdiao's own direct drive simultaneous 5-axis rotary table for complex multisurface parts.
These options make it easy to adapt the VTA600 for prototyping, small-batch runs or high-mix production.
With travels of 24.6" x 15.7" x 11.8" and a footprint of just 7.5' x 7.5' x 8.2', the VTA600 delivers a space-efficient package that fits most shop layouts. Combined with its integrated control and measurement ecosystem, it offers a balanced approach to precision and productivity.
