With the Miyano BNX-51-MSY from Marubeni Citizen-Cincom, the maximum machining diameter of the rear spindle has been increased from 42 mm to 51 mm, and a spindle of the same size on the front and back can be installed to handle more product processing. In addition, in response to requests from customers who process parts mainly for the automotive industry, the lineup is equipped with a new BNX-65-MSY2 equipped with a front spindle with a maximum machining diameter of 65 mm. The motor output has been increased by more than 20% to match the large diameter size, enabling powerful cutting, the company reported.
A multi-axis and multi-system control enable simultaneous machining of two tools with one turret, which contributes to shortening cycle time. In addition to these improvements in basic performance, the company has made various improvements to contribute to customer usability and productivity. Program storage capacity has been increased from 64 byte to 500 byte and the machine has adopted a 15" touch panel on the control panel.
A wide range of options is available to provide total support for workflow, such as Low Frequency Vibration Cutting (LFV) technology, which eliminates chip problems, and FA Friendly, a solution that meets labor-saving and automation needs.
