CERATIZIT Completes Phase One at New North American Headquarters

CERATIZIT has completed phase one of its strategic base-of-operations plan and opened the doors to its new North American headquarters in the Griffith Gateway office park in Charlotte, NC. The cutting tool company began site selection in 2024 with priorities centered on customer accessibility, connection to a robust manufacturing ecosystem, and a strong pipeline of skilled talent. CERATIZIT selected Charlotte for the headquarters location and began the phase one build-out of conference and meeting room space in February 2025.

CERATIZIT's new headquarters at 625 Griffith Road in Charlotte is less than a mile from Interstate 77 and only 20 minutes from Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

North Carolina's diverse manufacturing sector added to Charlotte's high rating by the company's selection committee. CERATIZIT's leadership in supplying cutting tools to aerospace, automotive, energy, and precision manufacturers matched existing and recently announced OEM and Tier 1 expansions to the state and surrounding region.

The final driver for CERATIZIT's new headquarters' location was the state's workforce talent resources. Charlotte benefits from a strong pipeline of skilled workers due to North Carolina's investments in technical colleges, trade schools, and universities with programs in engineering, machining, and manufacturing technologies. As the company moves to phase two, which includes dedicated space at its headquarters for the company's North American technical center, CERATIZIT looks forward to pulling from the state's talent pool as well as serving as a training partner to educational institutions.

"With our manufacturing facility in Sacramento, CA, headquarters in North Carolina, and the addition of a technical center, CERATIZIT will continue our strategic growth in the U.S. and strengthen our capabilities throughout North America," said Troy Wilt, Managing Director of CERATIZIT USA, Cutting Tools Division.
