New Addition to PIPEVIEW Helmet Series

Weldcote PIPEVIEW Flip-Front True-Color helmet features an auto-darkening filter.

Weldcote, a division of Zika Group, has introduced new additions to its PIPEVIEW welding helmet line featuring flip-fronts for additional functionality. Users can easily view their workpiece in natural light after welding and grinding.

The new rugged and lightweight helmets include the PIPEVIEW True-Color Flip-Front and the standard PIPEVIEW Flip-Front. The helmets feature a fiberglass shell with a fixed front mounting system with auto-darkening filter as well as a high-quality custom fit ratchet headgear.

Both styles of the PIPEVIEW Flip Front welding helmets are constructed of fiberglass reinforced material that makes the helmet shell resistant to high heat, as well as moisture proof and impact resistant to prevent cracks, chips or splits. The PIPEVIEW fiberglass material is self-extinguishing and smooth to deflect sparks and spatter.

Other features include:

  • PIPEVIEW True-Color Flip Front helmet features an auto-darkening filter (shade 10), a #10 glass filter and a fixed front mounting system with a high-quality, custom-fit ratchet headgear.
  • PIPEVIEW Standard Flip Front helmet features a #10 glass filter and a fixed, front-mounting system with a high-quality, custom-fit ratchet headgear.

An optional accessory of a Weldcote "constant fit" rubber headband that offers a consistent fit with easy adjustments for pipe welders as they move about their work is also available.

"The new flip-front design on our PIPEVIEW welding helmets offers welders convenience and flexibility on the job to view their workpiece in natural light after welding and grinding," said Joe O'Mera, CEO of Weldcote. "The entire PIPEVIEW helmet line is designed with an ergonomic, compact design that allows welders to efficiently access tight work areas, such as pipelines."

The flip-front helmet versions join the PIPEVIEW line that includes PIPEVIEW True-Color, PIPEVIEW Ratchet and PIPEVIEW Rubber Band helmets.
