DMG MORI USA Strengthens Presence in the Midwest

DMG MORI USA has announced the opening of DMG MORI Cleveland, a cutting-edge technology center strategically located in Medina, OH. This new facility will serve the Central East USA region, encompassing Kentucky, Ohio, western West Virginia, western Pennsylvania, and western New York-areas marked by economic growth and dynamic sectors such as medical, aviation and space, as well as high-technology manufacturing.

The Medina Technology Center employs approximately 60 skilled professionals, including applications engineers, sales representatives, and service engineers, dedicated to delivering superior customer support and solutions. The facility features a 290 sq. m showroom equipped with the latest manufacturing technologies and a 110 sq. m turn-key solutions area designed to provide comprehensive, integrated solutions and services tailored to customer needs.

In addition to sales and service support, DMG MORI Cleveland offers specialized training programs focused on advanced CNC machining techniques, digital manufacturing innovations, and exclusive DMG MORI technology cycles, reinforcing the company's commitment to workforce development and technological leadership.

To celebrate the opening of the new Technology Center, DMG MORI USA hosted a local event in October 21-22, 2025, coinciding with the company's nationwide National Tech Days USA. Attendees had the opportunity to experience live demonstrations and engage directly with the latest innovations in manufacturing technology.

Showroom highlights include:

  • NLX 2500|700 2nd Gen. with Robo2Go Drawer System: This universal turning machine is engineered for maximum productivity, combining high-speed performance and precision with a compact footprint. Its high rigidity and advanced thermal control offer improved surface finishes and dimensional accuracy, making it suited for industries such as aerospace and medical device manufacturing. The Robo2Go automation system offers a flexible and intuitive automation solution for small and medium batch sizes and enhances unattended production capabilities, enabling increased throughput and operational efficiency.
  • DMU 75 monoBLOCK 2nd Gen.: A high-performance 5-axis machining center featuring monoBLOCK design, which integrates the machine bed and columns into a single cast structure, enhancing rigidity and thermal stability. This design minimizes vibrations and heat deformation, offering improved precision and repeatability for complex, multisided parts. Its advanced automation options and user-friendly CELOS control interface support seamless integration into Industry 4.0 environments, making it suited for aerospace, medical, and moldmaking industries.
  • NHX Series 4th Gen.: The company's next evolution in horizontal machining, equipped with CELOS X, now features increased spindle output and cutting performance, faster acceleration/deceleration, and improved chip evacuation and coolant management.
  • DX: Digital Transformation solutions, including live demonstrations of my DMG MORI and DMG MORI Messenger.
  • Additive manufacturing (AM) capabilities: dedicated display area showcasing a range of high-quality metal additive manufacturing parts produced using DMG MORI's innovative AM processes.
